In this proyecto, we created a profil that was about our selves. On the last part of our writing piece we wrote about ourselves as if we were skeletons. We drew, painted, or constructed an art piece to go along with our fake skeleton lives.
Mi Profil
¡Hola!
Me gustan bailar, dibujar, acampar, snowboard, pintar, tocar guitar, jugar tenis, y correr. Escucho muchos tipos de música. A la televisión, miro “Bones”, “Friends”, “X-Files”, y “Battlestar Galactica”. Al cínema, miro “Mirror Mask”, “Lord of the Rings”, “Batman”, y “Flash Dance”. A casa, leo “Divergent”, “Unearthly”, y “Wings”. Mis huesos piernas rompen cuándo salto y giro. Entonces necesito poner juntos huesos. Deseo músculos a sujetar. Here is the link to my video |
Una Reflexión
In this project I learned many things about Día De Los Muertos. When the spaniards came to Mexíco they dominated all the Mexican cultures that were there because they did not believe that their religion was humane. The two cultures were mixed and the Aztec’s belief in celebrating death is still done today as Día De Los Muertos. My Skeleton reflects who I am because it shows my love for dance. I put a lot of time into making my skeleton look like a dancer so anyone could come and look at my picture and would know that it was a skeleton dancer. What I am most proud of in this project is how well I think I completed the writing portion. I really felt like I understood how to write and conjugate spanish to make sense. Though I can not speak spanish perfectly when I see it, I think that my knowledge of spanish is much improved since the beginning of the year. I did not have many troubles with the project, but the most difficult thing for me was to speak in spanish in front of other people at the exhibition. I need to work on my speaking skills for all future projects. Next time, if I were to do this project again, I would most likely make my drawing into a painting or a 3D model to add enthusiasm for my love of dance.
